Duties

• Manage Apprentice and Trainee placements with Host Employers;
• Promote Skillinvest's Group Training model for employing Apprentices and Trainees;
• Undertake all necessary pre-employment checks, inductions, OHS etc;
• Mentor and monitor apprentice/trainee performance;
• Carry out administrative tasks associated with host and employee files, RTO and trade school coordination/follow up, and employment paperwork.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• People orientated, confident to build strong relationships and local networks;
• An Apprentice or Trainee background would be an advantage:
• Experience in recruiting and managing staff;
• Ability to work with students and schools;
• Excellent communication and administrative skills;

Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

This position is based in Horsham, travel within the region will be required from time to time. The successful candidate will require a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
