Lucas TCS seeks experienced MC licenced Truck Driver for General freight and Float work locally, across regional SA and remote areas nationally, applicants will be required to safely load and haul all aspects of general freight and earthmoving / mining equipment to 130T GCM relevant to our project requirements.

Position Requirements |

  • MC License
  • Experience with safely loading and unloading all aspects of general freight including earthmoving plant and equipment.
  • Heavy Haulage Float experience an advantage with training provided to the right candidate.
  • Good knowledge of transport industry regulations, permits and gazette notices.
  • Good understanding of restraining loads.
  • Accident free professional driving history.
  • You take pride in your truck and have a professional approach to your work.
  • High regard for and sound knowledge of safety procedures.
  • High Risk Work License (Forklift)
  • White Card (classroom, not online)

Additionally |

  • Late model prime mover allocated to the appointed Driver
  • Employment may be conditional upon a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
  • An industry standard medical forms part of the recruitment process. Candidates must be fit for work and able to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
  • Remote area driving and consecutive nights away are a requirement of our Drivers.
  • Candidates must reside within the Adelaide region and be able to commute to the main depot at Darlington.
