Bennco Engineering is seeking a several experienced Mechanical Supervisorsto support our Port & East Pilbara operations. The successful candidates will oversee and supervise shutdown works across multiple clients on our fixed plant equipment, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to highest standards of quality and safety. This is a casual position with possibility to advance in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

·    Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high quality

·    Perform specific supervisory tasks and activities to ensure the workplace remains safe, when leading welding related technical activities

·    Interpret project technical information and ensures work is performed in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.

·    Conduct pre-start briefings in alignment with the information provided on the pre-start boards to ensure all team members are informed and prepared

·    Adhere to the SWAAP (Safe Work Area Access Permit) process, ensuring the identification of Safe Areas of Work for all teams

·    Review and sign off on Risk Assessments and permits for work tasks performed on site

·    Maintain a regular presence at job fronts multiple times per day to oversee and support team activities

·    Lead incident investigations, following established procedures and reporting findings

What you'll bring to Bennco Engineering:

·    Proven experience of 2-5 years in Supervisory role

·    Rio Tinto, FMG and BHP Experience is desirable

·    Experience with client systems

·    Must hold WHS Supervisor Certificate (or have the capacity to obtain one)

·    Dedication to the safety, well-being and future development of your team

·    Proof of right to work in Australia

·    Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
