Large Commercial Pump company seeking competent  Pump Technician with Plumbing or Electrical qualifications.

MUST be a resident of Northern NSW or Qld Gold Coast (not Overseas)

We are seeking an experienced Plumber/Electrician to join our team of Pump Technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and water pump systems for residential, commercial, or industrial clients, and associated plumbing and electrical infrastructure .

Successful candidate will undertake installation, servicing and repairs to potable water pumps, Submersible Stormwater & Sewer pumps, Bore & Spear pumps and Industrial & Domestic pumps, including Poly, PVC and Copper pipe works and Control Panels.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Must Have

  • Current QLD or NSW Plumbing/Electrical supervisor or Contractors licence
  • Minimum 3 years commercial experience in installation, servicing, & repair  of pumping equipment, fittings, & pipework.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Preferred

  • Restricted Electrical Licence Disconnect/Reconnect (Plumbing)
  • Confined Space Ticket
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • Knowledge of the Pump Industry
  • Electrical/mechanical aptitude (dual trade highly regarded)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installation, servicing and repair of pumps and fittings, which may require limited Confined Space entry.
  • Fault finding and rectification
  • Service oriented person who can work as part of a team or independently
  • Able to communicate with staff and clients
  • Carry out general plumbing and electrical repairs
  • Complete job reports and maintain accurate service records using ServiceM8
