HD Mechanic

Heavy Diesel Mechanic | Smeaton Grange | $50 - $55/hr + penalties

Opportunity: Join a well-established civil contractor with over 30 years in the game. You'll be servicing and maintaining a fleet of civil construction machinery — excavators, loaders, dozers, and scrapers — from their modern Smeaton Grange workshop.

Experience: Trade-qualified mechanic (HD/Plant) with strong diagnostics, hydraulic, and diesel engine experience. Previous exposure to civil or earthmoving equipment highly regarded. Some field work as required.

Benefits: Excellent workshop environment, great hours (7am–5pm), plenty of overtime, and casual rates between $50–$55/hr + penalties. Opportunity for long-term stability within a respected, family-feel team.
