At Scoped Building Group we are a small, family-run construction company. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and organisation.

We are looking for a couple of carpenters to extend our carpentry team due to the growth of our work with one of our contracts.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of carpentry experience and hold a Certificate III in Carpentry qualification.

Australian permanent residency is required for this position.

If you are looking to do a variety of work, this is the job for you as each week is different.

We do various work including refurbishments for Housing SA, small commercial, and private jobs.

The successful applicant must be able to perform multiple trades to cater for refurbishments and reinstatements for Housing SA (fire and termite damaged properties, kitchens and bathrooms), and small commercial projects, including but not limited to:

  • Commercial Carpentry, 1st, and 2nd Fix
  • Commercial and residential Cabinetry (not a requirement but proffered)
  • Plasterboard, Fixing, and Flushing
  • Demolition to cater for refurbishments and reinstatements
  • Commercial walls and ceilings
  • Decking
  • Pergolas
  • Sheds
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have a great eye for detail
  • Must be highly motivated and organised
  • Must have current Working With Children's Check and Police Clearance or willing to get one.

Some tasks and responsibilities are as follows:

  • General running of the site they are on.
  • Make sure the site is tidy and safe.
  • Liaising with the Supervisor and Leading Hand for the day-to-day running of the sites.
  • Be able to work both alone and in a team environment.
  • Make sure the job is finished to a high standard and on time.
  • Using a project management app to produce daily logs and view schedules.

We pay well above award rates.
