Sampling Assistant

Autex is a global leader supplying a diverse range of interior acoustic products for walls and ceilings to markets all over the world. We manufacture and dispatch these products across Australia from our Victorian operations. We are made up of experienced individuals who operate in a supportive and close network.

In line with our transition to our new, purpose-built facility at Essendon Fields, we're now looking for a Sampling Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Sampling Administrator, this role will assist the Marketing Department with the assembly of components as per instruction requirements. This includes gluing sample labels onto the product sample.

This role is offered on a part time basis (9am to 2pm Monday to Friday) however, flexibility in terms of hours and days of work will be considered.

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Assembly of components as per instruction.

• Gluing Header Cards onto product samples, which could be a chip or A4 size in our various materials and print samples with a great attention to detail.

• Building and curating of sample boxes.

• Liaise with the Sampling Administrator for sample inventory and checking to see which samples are low.

• Replenishment of orders to assemble components.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

• An ability to lift items up to approximately 10kgs in weight.

• A great attention to detail and pride in work.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high focus on the details.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly build connections with people at all levels

• A Positive and friendly demeanour.
