The Central Country Zone (the Zone) comprises of 15 Local Governments within the Central Country region of Western Australia. The Zone is seeking Expressions of Interest for an Executive Officer to support the Zone. As the Zone Executive Officer your high-level duties will include:

  • All meeting administration functions, from arranging the meetings, compiling agendas and minutes;
  • Being the principal point of contact for all Zone business;
  • Liaison with the Zone President as required;
  • Preparation of Agendas and Minutes of all meetings;
  • Organisation of meeting logistics, including venue booking, room set-up and catering;
  • Preparation of correspondence and action items;
  • Arrangement of guest speakers for Zone meetings;
  • Financial reporting and management;
  • Organisation of any other meetings, deputations or infrequent additional events

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • The services are to be delivered by way of contract for a term not greater than three (3) years. The successful person or business will not be deemed to be an employee, but a business entity.
  • Hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be registered for GST
  • The successful applicant will be required to provide evidence that they hold insurance policies listed in the position description.
  • The successful applicant will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
