Draftsperson

You will be responsible for:

• Producing accurate and detailed technical drawings (2D plans, elevations, sections) for new pool and spa construction using CAD software.
• Ensuring design compliance with Northern Territory building codes, council regulations, and the Modified Australian Standard for Pool Safety Barriers (AS 1926).
• Translating client and Sales Consultant concepts into buildable, fully dimensioned working drawings and specifications.
• Preparing comprehensive submission packages for local council permit applications and builder use.
• Detailing all ancillary systems, including plumbing runs, equipment location (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.), and pool finishes.
• Collaborating with the construction and service teams to resolve technical queries during the build phase.

You will have:

• Proven experience in architectural or civil drafting is required, with knowledge of pool/landscape design being highly desirable.
• Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting programs).
• A strong understanding of Australian building standards and local NT regulations, particularly relating to pool and spa safety barriers.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to precise technical documentation.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict documentation deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external certifiers.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
