The Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HSEQ Partner to support our NSW and Victorian operations, this position will be based in the Hunter Valley Region in NSW.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about safety and compliance, who enjoys working closely with operational teams to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement. You'll work alongside site leaders, crews, and clients to ensure Boom's safety culture is lived every day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the implementation of Boom's Safety Always culture across sites and depots.
  • Conduct and assist with incident investigations (ICAM), audits, and compliance checks.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks, safety observations, and training sessions.
  • Assist with injury management and workers' compensation coordination.
  • Maintain accurate HSEQ documentation and reporting.
  • Build strong working relationships with site teams, clients, and regulators.
  • Monitor and support workforce competency, licensing, and training compliance.
  • Provide practical HSEQ advice and coaching to frontline leaders and crews.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in an HSEQ role within industrial services, construction, resources, or renewables.
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001).
  • Mandatory: Health and Safety qualification (Certificate IV minimum).
  • Mandatory: Root Cause investigation training (e.g. ICAM).
  • Desirable: Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.
  • Desirable: High Risk Work or Heavy Vehicle licences.
  • Desirable: Internal auditor qualification or experience.
