Lynas Rare Earths has a great opportunity for a safety-focused Electrical Technician to join our team at the Kalgoorlie Rare Earth Processing Facility (REPF).

  • Industry leading residential 7:7 roster – Dayshift, Dayshift, Nightshift shift pattern.

The Opportunity:

We're looking for a safety-focused Electrical Technician to join us on our journey.

This residential role reports to the Electrical Supervisor with a focus on maintenance and plant optimisation. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a brand-new plant, with the latest equipment and facilities, this role would be suited to you.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing preventative and corrective maintenance support.
  • Active participation in developing maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure risks are identified and managed to provide a safe work environment.
  • Be involved in projects to optimise and upgrade plant performance

Required skills and experience:

  • Current unrestricted WA Electrical License (mandatory)
  • HV Switching Accreditation (desirable)
  • Cert IV Instrumentation (desirable)
  • Experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell control systems and VSD's
  • Exposure to Maintenance Management Systems - Pronto
  • Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
  • Current High Risk Work License (WA) – WP, LF
  • WA unencumbered C class drivers' license
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective team member
  • Must reside within the Goldfields region, or are willing to relocate
