About the role
Great permanent opportunity for a motivated Weighbridge Clerk to join CopRice in Leeton. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the CopRice weighbridge receivals, data accuracy and administrative duties. Early morning (8.00am / 8.30am) starts are required for this role.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Monitor and check the physical state of traffic management on site to meet safety requirements.
- Ensuring vehicle, customer, material and tonnage details are all correct.
- Ensure all transport drivers and visitors on site have completed an induction and are aware of accountable responsibilities while on site.
- Work within a team to provide administrative support and assistance.
- Generate Purchase Orders and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
About You
This is a great opportunity to bring your skills and experience to this interesting and multi-faceted role. You will have solid office administration background, problem solving and time management skills, with the ability to engage and work with various stakeholders.
You will have:
- Previous experience operating weighbridges.
- Experience in using a two-way radio for communication to co-ordinate all trucks and loading points.
- Aptitude for understanding the risks and precautions associated with traffic management and receivals.
- 2 -5 years of experience working within an office environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP and other computer systems.
- Basic knowledge of Accounts payable and receivable experience, including good receipting.
- Hire pallet transfer movement – preferable.
