INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME is proud to be the first accredited intensive care at home nursing service in Australia.
Our young female client in Ropes Crossing NSW is looking to complement her team of ICU/PICU/ED nurses for her very complex nursing care including unstable airway. Specifically we are looking for a regular day shifts but the client also needs regular 17:00-21:00 shifts as well.
We are therefore looking for energetic reliable, committed and client/ family centred ICU/PICU/ED nurses with a minimum of two years ICU/PICU/ED nursing experience
You're ideally wanting to make a difference to our client's quality of life so she can live at home instead of going back to ICU

Having a proven, innovative, safe and robust 3rd party accredited framework to deliver intensive care at home nursing care enables us to look after the highest acuity and sickest patients in the community in Australia.

INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME is therefore in a position to employ a team with hundreds of years ICU/PICU/ED experience, giving us the ability to look after more and more long-term ICU/PICU Patients at home, which has been formerly unheard of until 2014 in Australia.

Helping families to take their loved one home from an Intensive Care environment is a unique and powerful event that requires specialist skills that only few people and organisations have.
We empower and equip our clients with new awareness, opportunities, love and joy in the midst of massive challenges and we give them the precious gift of a peaceful and gentle transition to a holistic Client and family friendly home care environment, far away from the craziness of a hospital ICU/PICU/ED environment.
Who you are
If you have a minimum of two years ICU/PICU/ED experience and a critical care certificate(or equivalent) and you want to join a dynamic and progressive team of forward thinking ICU/PICU/ED nurses and you think you have what it takes to provide our clients with the quality of life/quality of end of life at home instead of intensive care you have come to the right place.
Supported by a clinical liaison nurse/ educator and a team of senior ICU/PICU/ED nurses with hundreds of years Critical care experience combined, we are delighted to hear from you if you have
· A minimum of two years ICU/PICU/ED experience
· Post-graduate critical care certificate or equivalent
· A "can-do" attitude
· High level of self-awareness
· Can work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent clinical judgement
· Excellent communication skills

· Current AHPRA registration Division 1
