As our client continue to grow, they are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Information Technology to lead their IT department and drive digital transformation across the business.

The Role:
As the Head of Information Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT function, ensuring robust infrastructure, secure systems, and the strategic use of technology to enhance business performance. This is a key leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO, with a focus on aligning IT initiatives with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company's IT strategy in line with business objectives

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing IT team

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, networks, cybersecurity, and support services

  • Manage key technology projects, including ERP and construction management systems

  • Ensure data security, compliance, and business continuity planning

  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and implement digital solutions to improve operational efficiency

  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations

About You:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within construction, engineering, or related industries

  • Strong strategic thinking with a hands-on approach

  • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, document management), and cloud solutions

  • Experience implementing systems and leading digital transformation initiatives

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (MBA desirable)
