Our next project in Western Australia, is an underground gold mining operation with an initial 8-year mine life.

About the Role:

The Jumbo Offsider is responsible for maximising the productivity of the jumbo operations and ground support activities and supporting the Shift Supervisor in coordinating the activities around the jumbo.

About You:

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Experience offsiding jumbo operators and setting up development headings with ground support
• Commitment to ensuring the work area is safe for personnel and equipment during and after jumbo activities have been performed
• Experience with assisting jumbo operators during the ground support cycle, rigging up and rigging down the jumbo
• Proven experience working safely to optimise productivity, and working safely under supported ground and around jumbo drills
• Previous experience assisting Service Crew and operating IT (desirable)
• Proficient in training other team members in all aspects of the Jumbo Offsider role
• Uphold high safety standards and a commitment to our Zero Harm culture

You will hold the following qualifications and licences:

• Current Australian C-Class Driver's Licence
• Valid WA Security Clearance (desirable)
