About the role
The Heart Centre is seeking a part-time Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Taree, NSW. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients, supporting the delivery of excellent cardiac care.
What you'll be doing
- Performing echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound examinations to diagnose and monitor a range of heart conditions
- Accurately capturing, analysing and interpreting cardiac imaging data
- Communicating findings to the medical team.
- Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols
- Providing a high standard of customer service to patients and their families
- Collaborating with the wider medical team to support the delivery of exceptional cardiac care
What we're looking for
- ASAR accredited cardiac sonographer
- Ideally minimum 2 years' experience as a cardiac sonographer in a clinical setting
- Excellent technical skills in cardiac ultrasound imaging and data interpretation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with patients and the medical team
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide training to trainee cardiac sonographers
