Seeking Enthusiastic Facilitators for Innovative Entrepreneurship Education

Young Wisdom is looking for passionate individuals to deliver engaging entrepreneurship education sessions for high school students, especially as part of our Secondary Schools Program collaboration with Macquarie University Incubator.

This casual, flexible role is ideal for recent school-leavers, university students and bootstrapped startup founders - especially those participating in pre-accelerator, accelerator and mentoring programs themselves.

About the Role:

  • Facilitate workshops aligned with our lesson plans and programs, teaching creativity, communication and other entrepreneurial/life skills. We're careful not to glamourise entrepreneurship, but also passionate about properly supporting students who decide to create real-world ventures.
  • Coach students in after-school programs and other initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality educational experiences.
  • Contribute to multimedia content/educational resource creation (e.g. YouTube Shorts, Google Classroom content, etc.)

Who We're Looking For:

  • Strong communicators with a passion for education and entrepreneurship.
  • Experience or interest in facilitation, mentoring, or lesson delivery.
  • Enthusiastic and adaptable individuals eager to make an impact.
  • People willing to frequently travel to Macquarie University Incubator, and various schools (mostly north of the bridge right now – e.g. North Sydney, Neutral Bay, Castle Hill, etc.)
  • Ideally: people with firsthand entrepreneurial experience in any context (e.g. traditional small business, tech startup, freelancer/sole trader, etc.)
  • OR: people with experience advising startups, startup programs and working in startup ecosystem organisations (e.g. incubators, VC firms, angel groups, etc.)
