The Opportunity -

Barossa Fine Foods are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our production team as a Full Time Receivals Storeperson. This person must be available to start at 5am at our production facility located at Edinburgh North.

What we are looking for -

  • Experience in a warehousing and/or Forklift Operator role
  • Ability to comfortably perform manual handling tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current working rights within Australia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving goods, completing relevant quantity and quality checks, filing paperwork
  • Stock rotation, ensuring proper procedures are being performed
  • Responsible for checking accuracy of incoming goods against delivery paperwork.
  • Removing waste from production/processing areas for disposal, cleaning out bins.
  • Filling pick locations, keeping accurate stock counts and assisting with stocktake preparations.
  • Complete Forklift prestart checks before use to ensure safety
  • Assist with forklift duties, order picking, receipting of products, stocktake and any other duties as required.
  • Maintaining a high standard of people and product safety in the workplace.
  • Reporting any WHS incident or near miss to manager/supervisor and incident reporting system.
  • Monitoring and reporting to manager/supervisor any issues and discrepancies with product safety and quality.
  • Other duties as required
