We're on the hunt for a forward-thinking Data Architect to lead the design, documentation, and governance of our enterprise data architecture. This is a high-impact role offering full visibility across our data ecosystem — from establishing foundational principles and integration frameworks to driving scalable, high-performance solutions that fuel long-term innovation.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Data Architecture: Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide data architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas.
• Innovation: Manage the innovation pipeline and execute innovation processes.
• Specialist Advice: Provide detailed and specific advice regarding data to the organisation's planning and operations.
• Strategic Planning: Collate information and create reports and insights to support strategy management processes.
• Relationship Management: Provide insight into problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned, and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.

This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine - ideal location) or Sydney (Rhodes), with a hybrid work arrangement.

About you

We are seeking an individual with Enterprise Data Architecture expertise and strong understanding of data architecture standards and methodologies, as well as modern data management. You'll bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach to resolving issues and aligning expectations.

In addition, you bring:

• Broad knowledge and experience of designing scalable, modular data architectures across multiple platforms including SAP, Snowflake and Salesforce.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP's legacy Business Warehouse and modernisation approaches, as well as understanding of SAP Business Data Cloud (Required).
• Knowledge and experience with enterprise data governance and master data with a focus on system data mastering.

Highly Desirable:

• Foundational understanding or experience with Salesforce technologies, in particular the Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Familiarity with the retail IT environment and the associated business-technology issues, ideally in a large corporate environment.
