The Athenaeum Club is a long-established and highly regarded private members club. We are seeking a proactive, organised and energetic individual to work in our Members Dining Room, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. NO Weekends or Public Holidays, (other then Christmas Day). 

This is a great position for an experienced, food and beverage professional who is looking for a great work/life balance and the opportunity to have a real impact on the service standards within our Club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong rapport with our members through your personality, professionalism and demonstrated passion for service
  • Ensure a smooth operation in the dining room
  • Help train and develop the skills of less experienced food and beverage restaurant team members

With a passion for hospitality and the ability to thrive under occasional pressure, you will have:

  • An exceptional eye for detail
  • Fine dining experience
  • Outstanding organisational skills and immaculate presentation
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good wine knowledge a distinct advantage, (we have an amazing curated cellar and cellar master to assist with this).

The key responsibility of this role is to effectively and efficiently deliver high quality standards of service in the MDR (Members Dining Room), achieving maximum member satisfaction.
