Cardiac Technician

Join the talented team at CardioFirst as a Cardiac Technician. This full-time role is based in Kingswood, NSW, and is crucial in supporting our mission to provide world-class cardiac care. As a Cardiac Technician, you will play a vital part in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions, utilising advanced medical imaging technologies.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), Holter monitoring, and stress tests to assess heart function
2. Operating cardiac imaging equipment, including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, to capture high-quality images for analysis
3. Preparing patients for procedures and providing compassionate care throughout the testing process
4. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all test results
5. Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings and develop treatment plans
6. Ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to regulatory standards

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or degree in Medical Imaging or a related healthcare field
2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cardiac Technician or in a similar role within the medical imaging industry
3. Expertise in performing a range of cardiac diagnostic tests, including ECGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing
4. Proficiency in operating cardiac imaging equipment, such as echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients and healthcare professionals
6. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate results
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
