Fixed Plant Operator: Join Australia's Leading Sustainable Materials Supplier

We are looking for a reliable Fixed Plant Operator to join our team at the Epping Recycling Facility. You'll play a vital role in supporting our operations by assisting with machinery operation, maintenance, and site upkeep-keeping our facility running smoothly every day.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role that offers great experience and a pathway to develop your skills with Alex Fraser.

* $33.75 per hour, plus penalties, plus super

* $32.27 daily allowance

* Monday-Friday, 5:45am to 3:45pm, rostered Saturday work

* Monthly RDOs

* Potential to obtain heavy machinery tickets

* All uniform, equipment and PPE provided, including fully laundered overalls

* Ongoing training and development in recycling and plant operation

This role is a great fit if you:

* Are physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks

* Enjoy working with machinery like skid steers and mini excavators

* Are hands-on and able to troubleshoot and maintain equipment

* Take pride in a clean, safe work environment

* Have a commitment to safety and follow PPE requirements

* Have (or want to gain) tickets for equipment such as bobcat (LS), EWP, or an HR licence

Your key responsibilities:

* Picking tasks (half a day) in the Pickers Hut, working off conveyor belt

* Fixed plant inspections, troubleshooting, and general maintenance

* Operating machinery including skid steer and mini excavator (1.5T)

* Housekeeping tasks around the facility to maintain a clean and safe environment

* Assisting with stocktaking and inventory control

* Reporting hazards and safety issues promptly

* Supporting the team with various operational needs
