YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Logistics Technician at Sydney Opera House, you'll help deliver exceptional events and productions for a diverse range of clients and colleagues. Every day brings new opportunities to collaborate with our Staging, Lighting, Sound AV and Warehouse teams, plus occasional projects with Technology.

We're looking for someone who values teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service. If you're passionate about creating seamless experiences and supporting creative productions, we'd love to have you on board. Applicants from all backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply

ARE YOU THE ONE?

  • Knowledge and experience (at least one year) working in a live theatre or event environment.
  • Demonstrated general technical understanding, skills and experience in manual handling, live theatre and/or the performing arts industry.
  • Basic hand and power tool skills and experience.
  • Current driver's license (Class C) and forklift licence is desirable.
  • Physical fitness, agility and ability to work at heights. Ability and commitment to work on a rotating shift basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within teams and across multiple disciplines to ensure completion of work.
  • Good communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of computerised systems and process such as MS Office
