About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facility Coordinator to join our client's Facilities Team within Customer and Business Services. In this role, you will oversee the coordination and management of the facility, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining facility operations, managing assets, and supporting statewide facility projects and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the facility to ensure safe, effective daily operations.
  • Implement business and operational plans to support research and development activities.
  • Develop and manage risk management programs including WHS, environmental, pest, waste, and fire safety compliance.
  • Oversee maintenance, servicing, and repair of plant, vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Support statewide facility operations, including contract administration and accommodation management.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and operational planning in line with public finance standards.
  • Utilise programs and systems such as Chemwatch and other electronic management tools.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in government or large-scale facility management.
  • Strong understanding of WHS, compliance, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with asset and maintenance management systems.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and operational planning.
  • C Class Drivers Licence
