We are a leading window and door fabricator, committed to quality craftsmanship and timely project delivery. We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team and help us keep our fabrication and installation projects running smoothly.

The Role

The Junior Project Coordinator will play a critical support role in the successful execution of our projects. You will be the central point of contact for project scheduling, ensuring all internal departments are aligned and informed, and that we meet our commitments to our clients. You will report directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and update a comprehensive project schedule for all active jobs. This schedule must clearly highlight key milestones, including:
  • Material delivery dates.
  • Fabrication progress and completion targets.
  • Installation start and completion schedules.
  • Identification and tracking of any potential or actual delays.
  • Inter-Departmental Liaison: Act as the primary scheduling link between departments, including Sales, Production, Logistics, and Installation.
  • Information Gathering: Proactively communicate with departmental managers and team leads to gather accurate, real-time information required to prepare and update the project schedule.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports and updates on project status, highlighting critical path items and potential risks to the Production Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized project files, ensuring all relevant scheduling and communication records are accessible.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

  • Proven organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and confidently interact with different personality types across various departments.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred (but not essential)

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, or Construction Management).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environment, particularly with windows or building materials.
  • Prior experience in a coordination or scheduling role.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
