We're partnering with a highly respected mid-tier accounting and advisory firm with a strong national reputation. As they continue expanding their Cairns practice, they're seeking a skilled Senior Auditor who brings technical strength, local experience, and a collaborative mindset.

• Lead and deliver external audits across a diverse range of industries — SMEs, large private groups, not-for-profits, and more.

• Plan, manage, and execute audit engagements end-to-end, reporting directly to experienced Partners.

• Build strong, long-lasting client relationships through hands-on service and practical insight.

• Mentor and guide junior auditors — be a role model for high technical standards.

• Identify process improvements and add real value beyond standard compliance.

• Gain top-tier mentoring for areas you want to develop further.

• CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion).

• 2–5+ years' Australian external audit experience in a professional services firm (mid-tier or Big 4 preferred).

• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and Auditing Standards (ASA).

• A proactive team player who communicates well and takes ownership of their work.

• Someone who enjoys client interaction and building trust through quality delivery.
