About this opportunity:

Our Gympie store is currently looking for a motivated and hard working applicant, to join the store's meat department as an apprentice butcher.

Reporting directly to the Meat Manager, this successful applicant will be provided with the necessary training and skills to be an industry recognised butcher and attain a Certificate III in Meat Processing.

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • A desire to study to become a Butcher
  • Enthusiasm to work with meat products
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High standards of personal hygiene
  • Commitment to work health and safety
  • Ability to liaise with both staff and management
