Meerilinga has operated since 1911. The children and community centres provide access to free and fee paid children and community programs and activities, facilities use and information. Income generating activities including facility rental and licenced early learning programs operate from the centre.
About the role
Meerilinga is seeking an experienced Curriculum Leader for a Fixed Term Period to lead our Pre-Kindy program for Term 4, 2025 at our Woodvale Centre. This 4 month Fixed Term contract is to support operational requirements for leave.
Whilst the opportunity at our Woodvale location is a fixed term opportunity only, there may be other requirements or opportunities within Meerilinga that we will discuss with the successful candidate towards the end of this period.

About you
· Hold a CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA approved)
· years' experience leading an early learning program.
· Current HLTAID012 First Aid
· A working knowledge of appropriate curriculum frameworks and an ability to develop and implement a high-quality educational program that reflects the diverse nature of the centre, local and wider community, based on the curriculum frameworks
· A working knowledge and understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 2-5 years, including children with additional needs
· Ability to collaborate, encourage, and inspire Educators
· Competent in role modelling innovation and creativity in our Early Learning programs
· Demonstrated experience building partnerships with families
· Computer skills (Microsoft office: word processing, spreadsheet where applicable)
· Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults
· demonstrated ability to work with families, children, and educators in a culturally competent manner
· The ability to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team environment
· Knowledge of child protection law and procedures
· Well-developed organisational skills
· Working knowledge of state government funding for kindergarten and data collection (if applicable).
