The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mechanical drafting support to our Sales and Engineering teams. You'll help bring projects to life with accurate and detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings, contribute to innovative designs, and support our customers and suppliers with technical clarity.
Key Responsibilities

Create and revise technical drawings and 3D models using CAD (e.g., SolidWorks).

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and sales teams on product designs.

Ensure drawings meet relevant Australian standards and industry best practices.

Generate and control part numbers, ensuring consistency with BOMs and engineering documentation

Liaise with customers and suppliers to clarify technical requirements.

Uphold Kinder Australia's reputation through precise, high-quality drafting work.

Maintain organised records of engineering files and documentation.

About You

Essential Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related qualification.

Proficient in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).

Experience creating and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Legal right to work in Australia.
