About the role
As a Site Foreman at Jordin Sports Construction', you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient and safe delivery of construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled tradespeople to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards at our job sites throughout Brisbane and Qld.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the construction crew to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to specification
- Liaise with the Owner/Manager to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project
- Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Monitor and report on labour, material, and equipment usage to maintain project budgets
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team, drawing on your extensive construction experience
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar construction supervisory role, with at least 5 years' experience
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant building codes and regulations
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a wide range of on-site challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools
