Lismore Far North Coast, Australia Casino Food Company Ltd Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

The Casino Food Company owns and operates the Casino Hide Tanners, a dedicated wet blue tanning facility located in Casino on the NSW Far North Coast.

The Casino Hide Tanners have both casual and full-time work offerings available, working Monday to Friday. The successful applicants will join the 60 strong team on a rotating roster working shifts starting between 6am and 7am. The role involves rigorous lifting and physical movements, so would be suited to someone who is physically fit with reasonable strength.

No previous experience is needed, just the right attitude towards work. Work equipment and on the job training will be provided to the successful applicant.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver hides that are being treated.
  • Time management skills and ability to keep up with a fast-paced production environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow directions.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Strong adherence to WHS procedures.

The following skills and qualifications are desirable, but not essential for the role:

  • Current forklift license.
  • Knowledge or previous experience in hide tanning.
