About Us

We're a small, family-owned aviation business based in Albury, NSW, specialising in aerial survey operations using fixed-wing aircraft. We also offer charter services and aviation maintenance. Recently, we've expanded into drone operations and are excited to welcome a new team member to support this growing part of our business.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a motivated and capable Drone Pilot to assist with aerial inspections of powerlines across rural NSW during the first half of 2026. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving industry, with hands-on experience and the chance to grow your skills in aviation and drone operations.

You'll be responsible for conducting safe and professional operations in line with CASA regulations and our company procedures. A keen eye for detail, sound judgment, and the ability to make quick decisions are essential.

Key Requirements

  • Current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)
  • Valid driver's licence (manual driving experience required)
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Strong computer literacy and comfort with technology
  • A proactive, hard-working attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional conduct and strong communication skills
  • Respect for private property and ability to liaise with landowners
  • Familiarity with file management, mapping software, and data handling
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions aligned with client and company goals

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience operating DJI drones and related software
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home (Monday–Friday, with potential for longer deployments)
  • 4x4 driving experience
  • Agricultural experience (e.g., spraying, spreading, product application)
  • Chemcert Chemical Handling Certificate or equivalent
  • DJI Agras T40/T50 type rating
