The Distinction Dental Lab, is part of The Dental Group—which includes The Sydney Implant Institute, The Dental Lounge, and Dental 99—is seeking a talented Dental Technician with expertise in CAD dental design. Our new, state-of-the-art facility features advanced milling machines, 3D printers, and the latest technology, enabling us to produce high-quality restorations entirely in-house.

Your Role:

  • Creating and designing digital dental restorations using CAD software.
  • Producing a variety of dental products, including surgical guides, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
  • Collaborating with clinicians to understand their requirements and ensure optimal results.
  • Performing wax-up procedures and detailed finishing work on restorations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of work done.
  • Adhering to health, safety, and quality regulations at all times.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Technician with a strong focus on CAD design.
  • 2+ years experience in ExoCAD or a similar system.
  • Ability to design and modify dental restorations, ranging from single crowns to full arch solutions.
  • Knowledge of implant dentistry, particularly All-on-X and abutment design.
  • Experience with anterior pressed restorations and high aesthetic requirements.
  • Strong manual dexterity and experience with monolithic zirconia.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dentists and the dental team.
