The Role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the Directors, this role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, team alignment, and continuous improvement across the firm.

You will manage both onshore and offshore teams, oversee workflows, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance client delivery and team performance. This is a high-level role focused on leadership, systems optimisation, and people management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice Management

  • Oversee workflow systems (Karbon, XPM), compliance reporting, and client service milestones.

  • Manage annual training calendar and liaise with external providers.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate client feedback initiatives (e.g., NPS surveys).
  • Identify and implement opportunities for new services or efficiencies in our current administrative and management structure.

  • People & Culture Leadership

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with our values.

  • Manage payroll, leave approvals, and employee benefits.
  • Champion our culture through team-building activities, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
  • Drive learning and development opportunities for staff growth.
  • Manage a well-established offshore team in the Philippines, ensuring engagement and performance.
  • Balance commercial priorities with care and recognition for team contributions.

  • Technology & Systems

  • Liaise with IT providers for equipment, software, and system improvements.

  • Lead tech projects including automation and AI integration.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager or similar role in professional services.
  • Strong understanding of client delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Experience managing offshore teams (highly desirable).
  • Tech-savvy with exposure to practice management systems (Karbon, XPM).
  • Inquisitive, proactive, and commercially minded.
