Wombat Civil is a small earthmoving and drainage company servicing commercial, larger residential and civil sectors in the greater Perth area. What you'll be doing

· You'll work as part of the Wombat Civil team, on diverse projects in the Perth metro area to meet project requirements and deadlines

· Work 'hands on' with general hand tools (shovels, rakes, etc) and safely operate small equipment (plate compactors, mixers, quick cuts)

· Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site

· Opportunity to operate general basic plant equipment including rollers, watercarts, excavators and bobcats, through training and on-the-job experience

· Local work in the Perth metro area, starting most days from our Yard located just off Thomas Road, Oakford.

What we're looking for

· Physically fit, motivated team member who possess a strong work ethic and is not afraid to use a shovel or broom

· Good knowledge of hand tools, small equipment, and manual tasks related to civil construction work an advantage

· Experience using laser levels and how to string line is desirable, but not essential

· Previous experience working in the construction industry is preferred, but not essential

· Ability to work effectively on site as part of a team

· Must have current, valid license and own reliable transport

· Construction Industry (White) Card
