Asset Portfolio Manager – Renewable Energy | Western Australia

The Opportunity

Join a fast-growing organisation driving Australia's transition to clean energy. JD Ross Energy are seeking an experienced Asset Portfolio Manager to take ownership of a diverse energy portfolio in WA. This role is all about maximising asset performance, delivering strong financial outcomes, and advancing sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage the end-to-end performance of embedded networks, solar, and battery systems across commercial properties.
  • Commercial Leadership: Oversee budgets, reporting, and forecasting to optimise returns.
  • Stakeholder Partnerships: Build strong relationships with property managers, tenants, utilities, and regulators to ensure smooth operations.
  • Compliance & Sustainability: Maintain regulatory standards and lead ESG-focused projects to meet environmental targets.
  • Integration & Growth: Support the rollout of new assets and renewable technologies into operational environments.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in business, finance, or property-related field.
  • 8+ years' experience managing complex property or energy portfolios.
  • Proven track record in P&L management and commercial negotiations.
  • Knowledge of embedded networks, renewable energy assets (Solar & Battery - C&I scale), and ESG frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
