The Role
This isn't your typical production gig.
As our Head of Production, you'll take charge of everything that happens behind the scenes and make sure it all runs like clockwork.
You'll lead the technical and creative production for all ASG events such as live, virtual, and hybrid working together with our Events, Marketing, and Operations teams to bring big ideas to life. From the first brainstorm to the final spotlight, you'll make sure every show hits our trademark standard of excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the technical and creative production for all ASG events, from concept to completion
- Oversee AV, lighting, staging, and streaming setups making sure everything runs smoothly, every time
- Build and manage production schedules, technical specs, and floor plans
- Lead and inspire a talented crew of technicians, freelancers, and production partners
- Partner with Events and Marketing to create seamless, on-brand experiences
- Manage production budgets, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Oversee studio operations and ensure all setups are safe, efficient, and top quality
- Stay ahead of new technologies, tools, and techniques that can elevate our production game
- Handle challenges calmly and confidently no matter what the show throws at you
Who You Are
- A production pro with 5+ years' experience in live, virtual, or hybrid event environments
- Technically sharp, knowing your AV, lighting, and broadcast systems inside and out
- A leader who thrives on mentoring teams and creating an environment people love to work in
- Calm under pressure, creative in problem-solving, and obsessed with delivering excellence
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, budgets, and timelines at once
- A strong communicator who can collaborate across departments and keep things moving
- Hands-on, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve how things are done
- Ready to travel and work after hours when big events demand it
