About the role

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic at Just in Time Mechanical, you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of a range of light vehicles. This full-time role is based in Toukley NSW 2263, and you will be part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality mechanical services to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnosing and repairing faults in light vehicles, including cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles
  2. Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing on a variety of makes and models
  3. Completing work to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in excellent condition
  4. Maintaining detailed records of all work carried out
  5. Providing exceptional customer service and communication throughout the repair process
  6. Adhering to all relevant safety standards and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualification in light vehicle mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  2. Proven experience as a light vehicle mechanic, with at least 2-3 years' hands-on experience
  3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  5. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
  6. A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  7. Will also consider 2nd and 3rd Year apprentices with a keen attitude to learning.
