About us:

At Flying Foam, we don't just make beer — we craft stories in every pint. As a proudly independent design/manufacturer and operator of all things brewing and distilling, coupled with a passion for innovation and consistency, we've built a strong local following and a growing national presence. We're now looking for a skilled, hands-on Brewer to help us, take our client's brands — to the next level.

Who You Are:

You're not just brewing beer — you're perfecting it. With at least 2 years of professional brewing experience, you've got the knowledge, curiosity, and drive to operate a brew house from grain to glass. You're detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and always eager to improve processes and products.

What You'll Do:

·       Manage day-to-day brewing operations: mashing, lautering, boiling, cooling, and fermentation

·       Monitor fermentation progress, yeast health, and perform quality control checks

·       Assist in recipe development and scaling

·       CIP (clean-in-place) procedures and general sanitation

·       Maintain brewing logs and data tracking

·       Collaborate with production, packaging, and quality teams

·       Stock control /Purchasing

·       Reporting to Head Office in Perth

·       Some travel to client's remote locations within QLD every quarter

What You Bring:

· years of hands-on brewing experience in a commercial brewery (& maybe distillation experience as well).

·       Strong knowledge of brewing science, equipment, and sanitation protocols

·       Ability to follow SOPs while contributing to process improvements

·       Passion for craft beer and a desire to grow your skill set into the distillation space.

·       Strong customer service experience / knowledge

·       Australian Citizenship & Australian Driver's Licence

·       Reside within 50km of the Brisbane CBD

Bonus If You Have:

·       Brewing & Distilling education or certification (Siebel, CIBD, etc.)

·       White Card

·       RSA

·       First Aid
