• Permanent part-time position – minimum 30.4 hours/fortnight (0.4 FTE)
• Monday - Saturday day shift
• Location: Kensington; Free Parking

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• General cleaning duties (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces)
• Making beds
• Cleaning of bathrooms, toilets and other wet areas.
• Waste disposal.
• Maintaining supply of consumables, cleaning supplies and linen.
• Safe use of chemicals and observing infection control practices
• Record and document cleaning activities as required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and use of Material Safety Data Sheets
• Effective communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Commitment to continuous improvement in care standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Check issued within the last 6 months
• Current Working with Children Check
