Senior Associate

Tusk Lawyers is a growing litigation firm with a clear vision. We are looking for a Senior Associate who is ambitious, driven and ready to step into a role with a genuine pathway to partnership.

This is not just another senior role. You will manage a caseload of complex and engaging disputes including business disputes, shareholder oppression and partnership disputes, defamation and estate litigation. You will appear in Queensland and Federal courts, develop litigation strategies, and play a leading role in the direction of matters.

As part of this role you will also supervise and mentor junior lawyers, with real influence over recruitment and team development. We want someone who is excited by the opportunity to build and lead a litigation team, with full support from senior leadership.

We are looking for:

• 6 or more years post admission experience in litigation
• Strong advocacy skills and proven ability to manage complex files
• Leadership qualities and enthusiasm for mentoring juniors
• Ambition to grow a practice and progress into partnership
• Based in South East Queensland with ability to attend Brisbane courts
• Referral base or network preferred but not required
• Australian work rights are required for this position
