About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced HC Truck Drivers to join the talented team at the Aldi DC in Brendale. As an HC Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our stores.

This ongoing position will require you to work a 9-day fortnight, including at least one weekend per fortnight. Rosters provided in advance.

Shift Time: 9:00 am 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate HC vehicles to transport goods to Aldi stores.
  • Loading & unloading freight via electric pallet jack.
  • Primarily local runs – DC to Store.
  • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with in-store staff & the general public.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with schedulers and warehouse staff.

Requirements:

  • Valid HC driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an HC Truck Driver.
  • Contactable work references to validate driving experience
  • Availability to work Monday - Sunday for a 9-day fortnight.
  • Must pass a Drug & Alcohol test & pre-employment medical prior to starting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
