Qualified and/or Trainee Swim Instructors

About the role

Shapland Swim Schools Kallangur is seeking a qualified teacher and a trainee teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals at our swim school located in Everton Park, QLD. This is a casual position,  with the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality swimming lessons to swimmers of all ages and abilities
• Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students during lessons
• Maintaining accurate student records and providing feedback to parents/guardians
• Assisting with the setup and pack-up of equipment as needed
• Ongoing professional development

What we're looking for

• Enthusiasm and a genuine passion for swimming and teaching
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills as a swimming teacher
• A current WWCC (Working with Children Check) or the ability to obtain one
• Previous experience in coaching or teaching swimming is desirable, but not essential

Trainee wages

You will be paid while training at age appropriate wages of Level 1 of the fitness industry award, once qualified the rate will go up.

Qualified teachers

Will be paid according to number of years taught in the industry.
