  • Ambitious with a high attention for detail
  • Experienced as a Workshop Foreman, Workshop Controller - Automotive or Heavy Vehicles
  • History and experience mentoring staff
  • Efficient, productive and well presented
  • Qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician (Preferred)
  • Qualified Light vehicle technician looking for change
  • Dual Trade Heavy Vehicle Technician and Auto Electrician
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • HR or MR drivers' licence
  • Forklift licence
  • Welding & Fabrication skills
  • COI accreditation

The job role includes (but limited to):

  • Plan and Co-ordinate workshop throughput
  • Allocate jobs to technician's based on competency
  • Mentor, lead and coach other staff
  • Ensure jobs are completed in the time frame required by the clients
  • Utilising DMS program to maintain timely and consistent information so that Advisors can communicate effectively to clients
  • Following up on outstanding work
  • Assist with diagnosis on trucks with concerns
  • Work with Parts Department staff to identify required parts and co-ordinate timely parts delivery

We're currently located across four large sites - Archerfield in the south, Eagle Farm near the Airport, Burpengary in the north and Stapylton just off the M1 near Yatala.
