About the role

Affirm OT is looking for an experienced and passionate Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our supportive team. This role is community-based, working with families across Melbourne's North and North-East. You'll provide high-quality, neuro-affirming OT services to children and young people, with flexibility to support private, Medicare, and NDIS clients.

What you'll do
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments to identify each child's strengths, needs, and goals.
  • Develop and deliver person-centred interventions that support independence, growth, and quality of life.
  • Work with children in their natural environments (home, school, community).
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to deliver holistic care.
  • Keep clear and professional records that support excellent service delivery.
  • Engage in team meetings and ongoing professional development to grow your skills.
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an OT (community paediatrics desirable).
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy + current AHPRA registration.
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and intervention planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and use initiative.
  • A passion for supporting children from birth to young adulthood.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A drive for professional growth and making a positive difference.
  • Someone who values flexibility – setting their own hours, days, and caseload.
