Experienced Surface Drillers Required

In partnership with our trusted clients, some of the largest drilling services providers in Australia, True Resources is now seeking expressions of interest for experienced and motivated Reverse Circulation and Diamond Drillers for a range of projects across Queensland.

For these roles we are able to offer FIFO from any major city to the Queensland based site, with immediate starts.

What the role involves:

  • Operating Drill rig and overseeing drill team.
  • Manage Offsiders and their training.
  • Operate with safety in high focus.
  • Liaise with client on hole direction and sample production.
  • Completing necessary safety paperwork and processes.
  • Assisting with routine maintenance.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading heavy vehicles.
  • Assisting in set up/dismantling/moving drill rigs and equipment.
  • Mobilising/Demobilising the rig to project sites.
  • Other duties as required.

To be successful you must have and provide:

  • A minimum of three years previous drilling experience
  • Certificate 3 RII31815 in Drilling Operations.
  • Hold a current HR Licence.
  • Clean NPC from within the last 3 months.
  • Hold a valid S11 and Coal Board medical.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
  • Working at heights, first-aid and 4WD ticket highly regarded.
