At The Blue House, we're more than just a school-aged care service – we're a close-knit community. Supporting three local Defence schools in the Richmond area, our unique service is licensed for only 14 children, which means we focus on what matters most: building strong relationships, nurturing potential, and staying deeply connected to families and the community.

The Role: We're looking for a reliable and community-minded bus driver to join our team. This is a casual position, ideal for retirees, locals with some spare time, or anyone wanting to give back in a meaningful way while enjoying flexibility.

You'll be responsible for transporting children safely to and from school, excursions, and other activities, ensuring their journeys are smooth, enjoyable, and above all, safe.

• Hours: While this is a casual role, split shifts are available during school terms, and there may be opportunities for extra hours during school holiday programs.

What we are looking for:

• Positive and friendly attitude
• Previous experience working with children and/or driving passengers, including children, preferred (but not essential).
• Minimum Licence required: LR Driver's Licence
• First Aid / CPR (preferred but not essential)
• Must have a currently valid & up-to-date NSW Working with Children's Check
• Good driving record
• Knowledge of traffic and safety rules and regulations, and of the precautions necessary to avoid accidents.
