Role Overview

Support the events, marketing, and sponsorship teams to deliver major industry programs and events, including the Cannes Lions partnership, AWARD Awards, Effie Awards, This Way Up festival and ACA grassroots initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Cannes Lions Partnership

  • In collaboration with the Head of Member Engagement, coordinate the Cannes Young Lions Australia Competition (judging, entry platforms, communications, live judging events, winner announcements, and winner travel logistics).
  • End-to-end management of the Cannes Download events (content, speakers, venues, AV, ticketing, and stakeholders).

Awards & Events

  • Assist the Head of Awards and Events with entry processing, judging, ticketing, marketing, and event administration for This Way Up, AWARD Awards, Effie Awards, and ACA events as required.
  • Management of smaller ACA member events and initiatives (speakers, venues, AV, marketing, ticketing, catering, invites, database management).

Sponsorship

  • Act as sponsor liaison, ensuring deliverables are met and recognition is accurate across materials and events.
  • Coordinate sponsor meetings, tickets, and approvals.
  • Support sponsor engagement at ACA events.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing and Communications with administration, sponsorship reporting and post-event evaluations.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in project management, event coordination and sponsorship roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM/website management.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.
  • Calm under pressure, proactive, and flexible to work evenings when required.
  • Experience in Award Force software and Arlo CRM is beneficial, but not required.
