Why We Are Hiring For This Role?
As our company continues its rapid growth and prepares for several large-scale product launches, we are seeking a dedicated Technical Enablement Manager to join our dynamic Revenue Enablement team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our technical customer-facing teams (such as Sales Engineers and Customer Success Managers) possess the deep product knowledge, practical skills, and compelling messaging required to successfully position, demonstrate, and support these solutions. This role will focus on the technical aspects of product and industry enablement, complementing the broader programs managed by Revenue Enablement. You will be the go-to expert for translating complex product information into effective learning experiences and practical tools specifically for our technical field teams. Working in close collaboration with Product Marketing (PMM), Product Management, Engineering, and our existing enablement team, you will ensure our field teams are exceptionally well-prepared for new product introductions and ongoing product proficiency.
What will you do?- Lead Technical Product Launch Enablement:
- Partner with PMM, Product Management, and Engineering to develop and execute comprehensive technical enablement plans for all major product launches and feature releases, ensuring deep technical understanding and readiness across field teams.
- Translate GTM plans and product specifications into impactful technical training curriculum, content, and resources.
- Develop and Deliver Technical Enablement Programs & Content:
- Design, build, and maintain a rich library of technical enablement materials, including: In-depth product training modules (e-learning, instructor-led).
- Technical demonstration scripts, best practices, and advanced demo environments.
- Technical playbooks, FAQs, competitive differentiation guides, and troubleshooting resources.
- Hands-on labs and technical workshops.
- Deliver engaging and effective technical training sessions, both live and virtually, tailored to the needs of Sales Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and, over time, other technical customer-facing roles.
- Collaborate with the existing enablement team to ensure integrated and complementary training for product launches, with this role owning the deep technical components.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment:
- Work closely with PMM to ensure technical enablement activities are tightly aligned with GTM strategies and messaging.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to stay ahead of the product roadmap, gather insights, and ensure accuracy of technical content.
- Collaborate with technical leadership within Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams to understand ongoing enablement needs and gather feedback.
- Integrate with the broader Revenue Enablement team to ensure technical enablement complements existing programs like onboarding and kick-offs, providing specialised technical tracks where needed.
- Collaborate with Competitive Intelligence and Product Marketing to deliver enablement focused on the technical differentiation of our products within the broader competitive landscape.
- Measure and Optimise Impact:
- and track key metrics to assess the effectiveness of technical enablement programs (e.g., technical proficiency assessments, certification rates, content utilisation, field feedback on preparedness, impact on product adoption).
- Continuously gather feedback from technical field teams and stakeholders to refine and improve enablement strategies and materials.
- Report on the business impact of technical enablement initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (e.g., Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, Technical Account Management) within a B2B SaaS or technology company with a highly technical product, with a strong preference for cybersecurity.
- Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in a dedicated technical enablement, technical training, or product marketing role with a focus on technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to deeply understand complex technical products and translate that knowledge into clear, engaging, and effective training and enablement content.
- Strong experience in designing and delivering technical training programs, including curriculum development, content creation, and facilitation (both live and virtual).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with highly technical teams.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using AI to accelerate the development of content, delivery of projects, and create efficiency in your work.
