We are now hiring an Aftercare and Standards Control Manager to lead defect rectification and building maintenance across our Sydney developments and to champion Landmark's construction standards.

About the role

In this key role, you will:

  • Manage defect rectification and building maintenance for Landmark buildings in Sydney.
  • Coordinate with project staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain Landmark construction standards.
  • Train and develop staff and subcontractors.
  • Ensure standards are implemented in project design and construction.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing defect rectification post-project completion, improving defect management processes, and conducting regular check-ins with project teams.

You will maintain aftercare information, ensure compliance with Landmark's policies, manage subcontractors for quality, safety and cost-effectiveness, inspect and approve completed works, and record and close out defect rectifications in the database. You will also prepare Annual Building Condition Reports, provide quality-improvement insights to development and construction teams, ensure safety and environmental management, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Routine tasks involve reporting and resource management, engaging with suppliers for construction improvements, and coordinating Aftercare Handover processes. You will also create and maintain construction standards and detailing, train staff and subcontractors on standards compliance, review construction detailing in drawings, and conduct site visits for quality control.

What you'll need to succeed
  • 10+ years' experience in residential construction.
  • Experience managing remedial works for developers/builders.
  • Proven track record of achieving excellent outcomes.
  • Background in site roles (Foreman/Site Manager) preferred.
